What is a postmodern ERP? That’s a great question, but it might be configured a number of different ways, but specifically it’s understood as an on-premise system, enhanced by several SaaS solutions that have been tightly integrated with the on-premise system.
The term itself was coined by Gartner, identifying a postmodern ERP as:
